Sometimes this can be a challenge. Site WiFi is slow and often will not support any kind of intensive use. TV signal is poor, and watching the TV is all about finding a seating position that gives a viewing angle that works.

At many campsites WiFi is woefully slow and limited, and costly with a charge per day or week. The quality is not good enough to support the use of apps like Facebook, let alone streaming of a video.

We can fit a booster system to the roof of your van, that will improve the available cellular signal by a factor of 5 compared to a smartphone. This delivers WiFi into your van that is robust enough to watch Netflix or hold a video call with a friend.

Two types are available. One is combined with a high quality digital TV antenna, the other is a simple, small dome that is independent of the TV antenna.

Only the most recent caravans and motorhomes will be supplied with purpose made digital TV antennas. If your van is a few years old it is quite likely that you have an analogue antenna installed.

Digital antennas will provide the best possible quality of picture, and are a relatively simple upgrade.

These TV’s also come with built in DVD player, digital TV tuner and a satellite tuner (for those who want to watch British TV on the continent).
